Maar voor we zo ver zijn rijden we eerst nog het binnenland in naar Oud Korinthe. Het idee is om onze fiets te parkeren bij de resten van de Apollotempel, gebouwd rond 550 v.Chr. Het blijft bij kijken op afstand, want er staat een groot hek. Na Turkije is het nog schakelen. Daar stond altijd een pot thee klaar. De weg is bijna vlak. Het is zonnig en we hebben een lekker fris windje op kop. Het fietst zo gemakkelijk en zo fijn. We drinken wat in Sarandapikhi\u00f3tika. Een plekje dat alleen om de onuitspreekbare naam vermeldingswaardig is. Ondertussen trekt de lucht dicht en we horen onweer in de verte.
