Het is echt de laatste dag vandaag. Het bordje zegt deze route niet naar huis nemen, het kanaal heet het Omleidingskanaal en de brug is afgesloten door het waterschap. De wind komt van ver, de boerenerven zien er anders uit en koffie wordt alleen geschonken bij de benzinepomp. De tegenstelling landbouw-natuur is groot. Het paadje door het gebied van Natuurmonumenten is smal en mooi. Zo veel mooie momenten onderweg, mooie gesprekken, fantastische uitzichten, stevig geploeter en fluitend trappen.
